This last weekend I had the immense privilege of being at Calvary Memorial Church in Oak Park, for their annual missions conference. It was one of those weekends that you go away saying, “wow. I received infinitely more than I could give!” God is so good. He showed me His grace tangibly through the lives of members at Calvary that spoke encouraging words, prayed for the ministry in Bologna, demonstrated a real interest in what God is doing in Italy. As we spent these days together, it was clear that God was bringing our two congregations – Calvary and Nuova Vita – together for the advance of the gospel.
During the weekend I also had the privilege to preach in their sermon series “Missional God” on the call of Abraham, Genesis 12. What a text to preach for a mission conference! The calling of the first cross-cultural missionary in history :)

Thank you Calvary Memorial Church! We are thrilled at what God is doing and how He is brining together our resources, our lives, and our passion for ministry. May He use it all for the purpose of His glory among the nations!
